Abbie Cornish was born 1982. Gilpin was able to gain a significant amount of TV knowledge in the next years, mainly through appearances in guest roles. The actress finally received her big break with Nurse Jackie's role as a regular on the show in 2013. Gilpin was a part of Nurse Jackie over 34 seasons as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin before it ended its run on June 15th, 2015. Gilpin was also on the show in True Story (2015), the thriller.
