Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies usually within the genre of martial arts and horror. genre, which is roughly comparable like The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and some morbid pleasure from them. After getting some attention in the forums of Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa) and began her review in late 2009. The website was her home up until the end of 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that cover the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. In 2009, after reviewing films, she gained fame through the Channel Awesome forums. Prior to becoming part of the official group of Channel Awesome reviewers, she became popular. She has appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She was a member in Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker, and she would appear often on episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
