McKayla Rose Maroney (also known as "Mack Air Maroney") is an American known gymnast. She was awarded gold by team US Olympics gymnastics squad, and also a silver individual gold medal during the Summer Olympic Games in 2012. As a result of the involvement of her parents in the sport, McKayla Maroney started studying gymnastics from an early age. She is among the very few athletes who have won gold in vaulting, an event that she won at the 2011 World Championships. She then won she won it again at the 2013 Championship.
